Zafer Ispartalı

He entered the Naval High School in 1990 and graduated from the Naval Academy in 1998 as a Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering Engineer.

Between 1998 and 2011, he worked in technical manager roles (Chief Engineer – Asst.Chief Eng.) in various platforms of the Naval Forces for 13 years without interruption. He started to work as the Mine Ships Repair Plan Officer of the Istanbul Shipyard Command in 2011 and managed the maintenance/repair and modernization projects of approximately 50 ships for 3 years. Some of the projects that he has actively managed during this period are:

In 2014, he resigned from his position in the Navy with the rank of Lt.Cdr and started to work in the private sector. After working as a Technical Manager in a maritime transport company for 6 months, he served as Naval Projects New Building and Outifitting Manager, Naval Projects Planning Manager and Project Manager, respectively, at Istanbul Shipyard between 2015-2019. During this period, he actively managed all the building, outfitting, test/trials, delivery, and warranty processes of 4 ships built for the Turkish Navy.

Between 2019-2021, he worked within the Ministry of National Defense Company ASFAT. During this period, he simultaneously served as the Project Control Office Manager, which was established under the Istanbul Shipyard Command, the Project Manager of 4 PN MILGEM ships built for Pakistan, and the 10,000-ton Floating Dock Project Manager built for the General Directorate of Naval Shipyards.

He established NAVSIS Defense Technologies Inc. in 2021 and decided to continue to produce added value for Defence and Marine Industry Projects under this initiative by exploiting evaluating the knowledge, skills and experience he gained so far.
